EFT Tutorial and Guide
THE TARKOV CENTRAL

Trying Out Missions
If you’re starting with Ground Zero as your first map to learn, as I recommend, you can also try out your first missions in Practice Mode. You won’t be able to complete missions permanently, but at least you’ll see where to go and what to do before tackling them with enemies trying to kill you.
Escape from Tarkov’s hardcore nature is reflected in its missions, which usually provide minimal information in the briefing about what you need to do and, especially, where to go. Ideally, you’d spend time searching and experimenting to stay true to the game’s spirit, but honestly, it would be tough to figure everything out on your own (especially if you're inexperienced).
So, look up the missions on the EFT Wiki (this page is a list of all quests, but you can search them by name using the search feature), where you’ll find instructions on what to do, what items you’ll need, maps showing the objective location, and all the other information you need to complete the mission.
For example, here you can see details on Prapor’s first mission: Shooting Cans.
For more complex missions that you struggle with, it’s a good idea to watch explanatory videos on YouTube as well. They often contain tips and tricks that can be very helpful.
