Each map has specific entry (or spawn) points and designated extraction points. Depending on where you spawn, you’ll have access to only certain extraction points, usually located on the opposite side of the map from your spawn point (with a few exceptions).

Another thing to know is that there are extract points that can be used only by PMCs, others that can be used only by Player Scavs, and others that can be used by both indistinctly.

It’s also worth noting that some extraction points have specific requirements to be used. Some may require a key to open an access door, others need a switch to be activated, some require money to pay for the extraction, and others may need a flare to signal extration.

With patch 0.16 BSG introduced also Hidden Extracts, that can be used by both PMCs and Scavs, but to activate them you need to find a piece of paper with a code (learn more in this article).

Lastly, there are co-op extracts, that require the presence of both a PMC and a Scav to be activated. This means you need to find a peaceful member of the opposing faction that wants to collaborate and extract together. The reward for both is extra Fence Rep (or Scav Karma) and some presents from Fence (you'll receive them in your mail).
