EFT Tutorial and Guide
THE TARKOV CENTRAL

The Third Step: Real Targets
At this point you should have a basic knowledge of at least one map and tried out the weapons.
It’s time to try fighting against AI enemies (while you keep exploring and learning the maps you chose to start with).
Choose a basic loadout (see next section for some starting tips), but don’t forget to select the Practice Mode. This way, even if you’re killed, you won’t lose anything, and any ammo you use won’t deplete your inventory, as it will reset to its pre-raid state.
Initially, I recommend disabling the bosses. Bosses are a much tougher version of regular AI, with some possessing special abilities and armed guards protecting them.
Trust me, initially they will probably seem impossible to beat. But you'll learn to deal with them.
By disabling bosses, you’ll also avoid higher-level AI like Raiders and Rogues, facing only Scavs instead.

It’s a good idea to set AI difficulty to “easy” at first and gradually increase it as you become more comfortable with combat.
Later, when you feel more confident, you can also increase the number of AI enemies to practice handling more intense situations.
