EFT Tutorial and Guide
THE TARKOV CENTRAL

Just follow the waypoint!
Haha! Gotcha.
In Escape from Tarkov, there’s no map showing your position, active quests, or who’s around you. No waypoints or other aids—it’s as if you’ve been dropped into an entirely unknown place.

Thankfully, dedicated EFT fans have created highly detailed 2D and 3D maps, which provide all the information you need.
Some of these maps are even interactive, allowing you to zoom in and choose which elements to show or hide. With these maps, you can locate entry points, extraction points, mission objectives, loot areas, and even buried barrel caches and ground caches.
There are various sources for these maps, but the best options, in my opinion, are those available on the EFT Wiki (the interactive ones are great, but I use a lot the 3D and 2D ones too, depending on what I need them for) and Map Genie (some maps require a subscription but they are excellent and always updated).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not rely on the maps you can loot in-game. At the moment, they are completely useless (because they lack any references), and if viewed using the "map" button on the raid map selection screen, they are bugged!
